Meet Dr. Robinson

Melanie D. Robinson, DDS, MS, PA

Dr. Melanie Robinson is a board-certified periodontist committed to providing exceptional periodontal and implant care in a compassionate and comfortable setting. She specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the gums and supporting bone around the teeth, with a focus on restoring oral health and improving overall well-being.

Dr. Robinson values building strong relationships with her patients by listening carefully to their concerns and designing personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. To ensure a stress-free experience, she offers a full range of sedation options, including IV sedation, for patients who may feel anxious about their surgical care.

Dr. Robinson was born in Springfield, Missouri, and remained in her home state through college before relocating to Texas in 1996. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating as salutatorian of her class in 2001. She then completed advanced graduate training in periodontics and implantology at the same institution. In 2004, Dr. Robinson established her periodontal practice in Austin, where she has provided expert care for over 20 years, bringing extensive knowledge and experience to her patients.

Dr. Robinson is a passionate potter who enjoys creating handmade ceramics. She’s also an avid basketball fan, especially when it comes to UT games. She and her husband love spending time on the Texas coast, where they enjoy fishing together. They have two young adult sons and cherish every moment they get to spend with them.
